Commissions Reports can be found on Accounting Google Drive under Commissions Folder
Pull the sales report and update the commission reports.
Send the updated reports to the salesperson, Jack, and the sales manager by the 5th of the month.
Sales people need to send written confirmation that the report is correct by the 10th of the month to ensure no delay in payroll.
Accounting will put draw or commission amount into ADP for 16th payroll.
Step 1
On the 1st of the month, pull the “Sales Rep Commissions” report for each rep in MagHub.
Go to reports.
Click on All Reports
Click on Commissions
Click on Sales Rep Commissions
Click the money amount that corresponds to the Sales Rep and the current month of commissions
Click on Export Results
Open the exported commission report.
Open the Sales Reps Commision report from Google Drive. ACCOUNTING>COMMISSIONS>Commission 2023
Copy and paste the orders for each rep, lining up the appropriate columns to match the existing report.
After all of the orders have been pasted in, copy and paste a line for the payroll draw and put in the current payroll draw date.
Note that there should be two Payroll Draw rows after each month of sales. Simply copy and paste from previous months, changing the dates of each payroll draw to correspond to the current month.
Drag the formulas for each currency column (last four on this sheet) down to apply to the new line items.
Copy and paste the new sales and commission amount to the All Sales Commission Report.
Step 2
Send the updated commission report to each salesperson and cc the sales manager by the 5th of every month.
Send the updated All Sales Commission Report to Jack and the Sales Manager by the 5th of the month for their review.
Sales needs to approve the report or fix any errors by the 10th of the month.
Step 3
If all approved , add the commission amounts for each sales rep to the payroll (if they exceeded their draw). Add a “Paid out commissions” row to the “ Commissions Report 2023”.
Other ways to match/reconcile the sales report.
If there was a conference , you will need to go to Reports > Consolidated Sales Report. There you can use the dropdown to select the conference that was held. You will also need to filter by sold date to ensure MagHub only searches for that year’s conference.
Don’t select the Start/Issue/Billing Date for conference ,unless you adjust the date to conference hosting month because that when issues’s reporting date date is set.
Click the Edit Display Fields and enable the cash due column to show on the report.
Check the Advanced Search-Order Rep’s name.
check the box at the bottom of the filters to Include Financial Details. There would be the Cash Due column. If it is paid, Cash Due will be Zero. There is also the commission
