Cleaning up the report:
Once the report is exported you will want to delete all columns except: Company, Publication, Issue, Ad Size Decimal, Order Rep & Cash.
Add columns for each year for Ad Size and Cash and organize columns in this order:
Order Rep - Company - Issue - Ad Size Decimal - Cash
Ad columns for each year i.e GI 2022 - Cash - GI 2021 - Cash
Organize each company onto one line by year issues and cash amount.
Check with the editorial department for the “add in” list. This list is companies that editorial has included in the issue. Create a column for the “add in” or “in stories” list and update accordingly.
If there is an ad size but $0 cash amount, check in Maghub what the charge was for and put in a quick explanation under the year. I.e “added value” “comp ad”
Add up each year and create a total sales at the end of report and add up each year:
Before completion combine any duplicate companies and data.
The “Sales Rep” should be updated for each company to the correct sales person. If you don’t know who is over that account you can look that up in Maghub.
Once done you can remove “Issue” and any blank columns. Add border lines and to separate years to make the report easier to read for the sales team:
