Overview of the SOP - This document is intended to show how to upload/create/edit a “Im speaking announcement” template using Canva.

Main Section 1 {Overview} - [This is a simplified set of instructions for the SOP.  Helpful to reference when someone is already familiar with the details but just need a reminder.]

1. Log in with the Canva account.

2. Click on the button “Create a Design” and click the box Import File

3. Select the PDF Template that Graphic Designer created (usually Shannon) (only a Print attributes PDF will be able to be editable in Canva) 

4. Once the PDF Template had been uploaded, you can start editing

5. Download your new created badge/template and upload to the Google Drive.

Main Section 2 {STEP BY STEP} - [This is a more detailed set of instructions]

1. Click on Create a design

2. Click on Import file

5. Select "Speaker_01.pdf" example name from file upload menu

6. Search and Open the file you just uploaded on Canva, (Usually, the 1st or more recent design on the list)

7. Click on the name, title, logo,or topic of discussion to edit your template.

8. Type in [new name]

10. Click on the button Share

11. Click on Download option

12. And you can either save it as a PNG or PDF, but for future EDITING or have it a a template we recommend PDF PRINT

14. You’ll have the choice to save as an RGB or CMYK, but we recommend the second since you’ll preserve more of the original design color.15. 

Click on CMYK (best for professional printing)

16. Click on the big Download button.
