Missing Ad’s Report
Missing ad reports are pulled from dates on the Production Calendar:
On the calendar it will list each deadline for upcoming issues. Look for “Advertising- Materials Deadline: Send first email”. This will give you the date for the initial deadline for all artwork/Ad’s to be uploaded into Maghub. Further down there will be a line for “Material: Send second email”. Per the dates you will need to pull the report in Maghub to see which advertisers are still missing artwork and send the report to the salesperson assigned to the account.
First Email: Send the report to salespersons and let them know which accounts are still missing artwork. Then send a general email to Advertisers letting them know we are still missing their Ad Material and let them know when the initial deadline is.
Second Email: Send the report to the salesperson and ask them if there are any accounts they would like you to reach out to to help collect ad materials.
To Pull Missing Ad’s Report:
Log into MagHub
Click on “Reports” then “All Reports”
On the top tabs choose “Production/Design”
Choose “Production Report”
Under “Publication” select the publication you are looking for.
Under “Issues” select current issue. If you put in a “Report to Date Range” only certain issues will show up to select.
Click “Get Report”
Once the report has run you will see under “Status” if a file has been uploaded. You will want to export this report by clicking “Export Results”.
Once report is in Excel, you will want to clean up the report so it is easier to read for you and the salesperson. The columns you will want to keep are:
