Adding a New Employee in ADP

Login to ADP
Choose a company that the employee will be under.
Click on Directory at the top of the screen.
Click on Add new employee (W-2)
Choose “No, I’ll do the onboarding”.
Click Next
Fill out the employee information and click Next
Fill out the employee's current W-4 information and click Next.
Click Add Account and fill out the employee’s direct deposit information and click Next.
Fill out the employee’s contact information and click next.
Fill out the employee’s payroll information and click next.
If the employee qualifies for deductions click on Add Deduction.

Fill out deduction information from the handbook and click next.
Click on Assign plan
Click on Personal and then click confirm and add.
Click on personal
Click on edit next to “How your employee earns PTO”
Change the amount of PTO earned.
Reference the handbook for the correct calculations.
Click done
Click save and then next.
